Introduction
Mercury is the invention of ford Motors Company, an automotive corporation which was established in 1939. Mercury is luxury car, very similar to luxury Lincoln and entry level ford which are the products of Daimler Chrysler and general motors Buick. All versions of mercury are established on the basis of ford platform. Mercury brand is very famous in United States, US Virginal Island, Mexico and Puerto Rico. In 1999-2000, mercury name is revised as Fords in Canada and Mexico but still currently used in other places as mercury.
Historical Background Of Mercury
The name of mercury is taken from roman mythology as messenger of god and mercury corporate is recognized for the excellent performance which was revived in 2003 in comparison of mercury marauder. Mercury had its own share with Ford Corporation till 1945 then it became part of Lincoln mercury line. Mercury was launched in the market at that time when ford and Lincoln were also undergoing the process of modification in 1949. In 1970s mercury had separated itself from Ford Motors Company and started to devise its own unique styled models, turnpike, park lane, cruiser and marquis.

Mercury is produced by Ford Company which was taken as basic productions amidst ford cars and luxury car models of Lincoln series. The first model of mercury was launched in 1939. it was powered by middle-sized engine V-8, very competitive against the mid-sized car models of general motors. In 1960s, Ford Corporation had devised the model of mercury, very muscular and sturdy model. Ford Motors Company has made very refined models of mercury with brand name, mercury. Many automotive companies copied the name for their brand, mercury. In 1950s the logo was designed simply in the form of M with horizontal bars which was bulking forwardly from the lower part of vertical surface in every direction. In 1980s it was presented sign of cat especially designed for couger model.
