Introduction
Saturn ION was introduced as compact car model, manufactured by American automotive corporation, General Motors. Using GM Delta Platform, Saturn ION was presented as a replacement of Saturn S-series in 2003. in 2006, it has been presented as most large compact car with high selling point in northern areas of America. With the passage of time, there have been innovative and revolutionary changes taken place in the model to present most refined model of the year which is most comfortable, smoothing and elegant.

In 2003, the model of Saturn ION was well-equipped with DOHS ecotec 14 engine with 140 hp power capacity. All kinds of instrumental panels is designed in the mid part of dashboard rather than behind of steering. Saturn ION has two kinds of forms, coup and sedan. In 2004, Saturn ION had been launched newly designed red line with variable 206 horse power engine of highly exclusive power and performance with F-35- five speed automatic transmission. Saturn ION of 2005 was modified with Aisin five-speed automatic with the inclusion of VTi and CVT with problematic issue of shift flare and seats were improved with high quality fabrics. In 2006, Saturn ION was equipped with 170 horse power of 2.4 liter engine with variegated valve timings and 170 ft Ibf torque.
